Corolla Fish Report

OBX Bait & Tackle Corolla Outer Banks, Corolla Fish Report
Saturday, August 21, 2021
Offshore from Oregon Inlet
Inshore from Oregon Inlet
Corolla to Nags Head Piers
Corolla to Nags Head Surf
Corolla to Nags Head Sound

Saturday change over and Henri is just off the coast. We will see strong rip currents for at least a couple of days with some larger waves so be aware and careful. Hopefully, by Monday we get back to normal. I don't think we will have much to report for the next couple of days and quite frankly there hasn't been too much to report anyway. It has been an off-year or at least an off-summer along the beach. We are starting to see some drum south of the bridge starting to come in but up here it has been mostly mullet, croakers, and spot with some pompano. The water temp today is 77.
The nearshore boats have ribbonfish and sea bass. The offshore fleet had tuna, wahoo, mahi, tiles, barracuda, and white and blue marlin.

We do have charters available this week just call the shop to schedule yours!!  Shrimp and crabbing trips also available.

Send your pictures to obxbaitandtackle@yahoo.com   and we thank you.
