Corolla to Nags Head Piers

        Well fishing was a little slow yesterday but look for fishing to pick up with the water temp at 64 degrees should make the fish wake back up. The wave height will pick up for the next three days at least Monday being the worst I believe. The Pier fishing went off early this morning at Avalon with a mess of Spanish Mac's and a bunch of Bluefish, While the rest of them have some Spanish, Bluefish, Mullet with OBX pier adding some Spot and Croaker as well. Inshore boats killing the Cobia many weighing in between 40 and 60 lbs. our on Captain Clay was out yesterday and boated some in the 35 to 40 lb. class. The Oregon inlet head boat had some Sea Bass, Puffers, Pig fish, Croaker's Mullet and Pin Fish. Offshore action: Big Gaffers of Dolphin and Yellowfin with 2 Blue Marlin (released).
