Celebrating their 15th season, HIB also shares their love of surfing via lessons. While they offer advanced options, the vast majority of lesson takers are people who’ve never surfed. One of the unique aspects of the sport is that people can learn the basics relatively quickly, generally within one lesson. “Once you’ve ridden a wave and can stand up, then you can spend a lifetime improving and trying new things,” Kevin says.
