Holiday Favorites Concert With Eric Mintel Quartet
Dare Arts wraps up its 50th anniversary year with two special holiday jazz performances by the acclaimed Eric Mintel Quartet this December. Enjoy the festive sounds of holiday jazz, featuring A Charlie Brown Christmas and other beloved seasonal favorites, in a cozy, family-friendly concert. “Celebrate the holiday season with us and relive the unforgettable soundtrack from your childhood at this magical concert,” said Dare Arts Executive Director Jessica Sands. “It’s been a spectacular year honoring 50 years of Dare Arts on the Outer Banks, and this event is the cherry on top. Bring the whole family for a cozy and sentimental experience.”

For over 20 years, the Eric Mintel Quartet has enchanted audiences of all ages at the White House, the Kennedy Center, and beyond with high-energy jazz performances and heartfelt musicianship, making this “Charlie Brown Jazz” inspired performance a cherished holiday tradition across the country. “We are looking forward to seeing everyone for these special concerts,” said musician Eric Mintel. “My jazz quartet has been bringing this timeless music to audiences of all ages and re-introducing the wonderful music of Vince Guaraldi to new generations. The audience can expect hits like Linus and Lucy, Skating, Christmas Time Is Here, plus many original holiday tunes that I’ve written that we’re eagerly awaiting to perform for the great audience on the Outer Banks.”
