Event Description:
In June, our Vault Gallery will feature beautiful crystalline pottery by Janet Gaddy and Timothy Moran of Brown Summit, NC. Crystalline is the art of growing crystals on pottery during the firing process, and Janet and Tim's hand thrown porcelain features stunning crystal formations unique to each firing. Each piece they produce is hand thrown in fine porcelain and meticulously glazed via their 30 hour, 10-step process. The month-long exhibit, Crystal Clear, will showcase a variety of forms including functional vases and cups to sculptural works all finished in their one-of-a-kind crystalline glazes.
