Dare County Arts Council, People, Pets & Places You Love Exhibit- Watercolors by Mary Edwards
Event Description:

For the months of December and January, our vault will feature work by award-winning artist Mary Edwards. The two month exhibit showcases Mary's watercolors of people, animals, and places she loves that were painted over the past few years. Mary's Nags Head Pier series is among the award-winning paintings of familiar, beloved historic places on the Outer Banks. The exhibit will open on Friday, December 4, 2020 and will remain on display through Saturday, January 23, 2021.

"Once I learned that life made more sense when I created art, I never stopped drawing and painting. I believe creativity and art are essential to joy and making the world more beautiful by bringing people together. My art is from my heart, so if my art touches your heart, I have achieved success," says Mary. Mary is the recipient of numerous awards from the Water Color Society of North Carolina and her work has been exhibited in leading art galleries across the state.
