4 On the 4th Race
Kick off America's birthday with a 4 mile jaunt on Hatteras Island through beautiful Kinnakeet Shores in Avon. All registered runners receive an eco-friendly cup for use on the course, an icy cold towel at the finish, a cool finisher's medal, a performance t-shirt and a delicious breakfast/post race party! We are also offering a 1776 (foot) dash for the little ones!!
But wait...it gets even better!! Part of the B.I.G. mission is to help support local nonprofits. Our nonprofit partners for this event are Hatteras Island Meals, OBX Buddies, Chicamacomico Life Saving Station and a few others, so you can come and have a great time while helping your community!!! Last year over $2000.00 was generated for the nonprofits noted plus the HI CERT team, Avon VFD & the HI Ham Radio operators.
