Labor Day Lighthouse 5K
Join us on Labor Day and run through the newly refurbished Cape Hatteras Lighthouse grounds! While the lighthouse is still undergoing renovation, this 5K will offer stunning views of the lighthouse and a tour of the surrounding park and pathway.
This year, the Lighthouse's balcony is in need of repair. So we've taken the opportunity to call this year's run the TOPLESS Labor Day Lighthouse 5K. No offense meant to anyone; just celebrating this iconic Hatteras Island landmark as it moves through its latest updates.
Once again, the event will support local nonprofits, including The Buxton-Frisco Pathway Assn, The Buxton Civic Assn, the Food Pantry in Buxton and Mighty Milly. Donations can be made directly to these groups via the race registration page.

Our first 200 registrants receive a commemorative shirt, eco-friendly reusable cup and an awesome finisher medal to celebrate your accomplishment.
