Merry Christmas
We have had a great Christmas here in Hatteras.
It has been super busy, but a large time was had by all!
Joe has ben off for Christmas break and duck season came back in, so he and I and our usual crowd have been doing a little duck hunting.
Joe is armed this year and is learning a lot. First off he needs to stop standing up and yelling "there's a duck!"
we are working on that!
Jeremy bought us a new three burner stove for the blind, so we have been cooking up a storm!
I am actually more excited about all the good stuff we eat over the duck gunning!
It has been hot not warm HOT down here and we are ready for some cooler weather.
Cat had to take unusual steps to stay cool!
We have had a couple good hunts with some great friends taking some redheads and a few pintails.
I think the ducks are sweating!
We had a great Christmas Eve Dinner on Piney Ridge.
I cooked a small rib roast on the grill, cause I was not doing anything in the oven in this heat!
Natalie and Joe did bake so cookies, but we just cranked up the AC even lower!
The boys had a very exciting Christmas Morning!
The twins actually sleep in till at least 8 or so, so it was tough for Joe, but he did give Natalie and I Quarterly Hour updates starting at 6am to our bedroom, which was nice.
Finally they were awake and very wide eyed on Christmas Morning!
Santa left so much stuff, I joked with Joe that he accidentally left some other kids stuff at our house and we needed to find who it belonged to!
Natalie is posting so great pics on Facebook so if your are friends check them out!
Joe killed it with the star wars stuff, and I dug playing with it too!
We gathered everyone up and met at the Perry House for our usual Christmas morning brunch and presents followed by more presents!
Natalie and I have been discussing adding on to our house, now we are gonna need to in order to house all of the new toys!
The Evening was topped of with Christmas Dinner at Gramma's and even more presents!
We are truly blessed this year to spend time with out friends and family.
As we take a moment to reflect on this past year, we just wanted to say thank you for your business and we look forward to taking you all fishing again this year!
We hope you had a great Christmas, Happy Festivus, Happy Chanuka, Merry Kwanza or anything else you want to celebrate, and we wish you a Happy New Year!
See you in 2016!
