In Search of a Blue Marlin

Dave and Gene on board the bite me today in search of a Blue Marlin.
They are quite the big game hunters with many Elk, Deer, Caribou etc to there credit.
They wanted a Blue Marlin so thats what we looked for.
We had about a 300 pounder eat the teaser and leave, never tried the pitch.
A little while later we had one eat the long rigger.
Took a bunch of line and just as we settled down to fight him he was gone.
Oh well, that's how it goes some time.
We caught a few dolphin for dinner!
