Sips 'n Bits & a Little Bit of History - Taste of the Beach
Join us for Black Pelican’s Sips N Bits and a little bit of history event!!! A fun and delicious dining experience that includes 5 courses of small plates, “bits”, accompanied with custom cocktails, “sips”, prepared by our amazingly creative and talented chefs and bartenders! Take a stroll through the restaurant and see why Black Pelican is so unique! Our building is filled with history as it was one of the original lifesaving stations built in Kitty Hawk in 1876. In 1903 it served as the Western Union Office from which the Wright Brothers sent their message of successful flight!
Your first course begins with our Housemade She Crab Soup and Crab Claw with Chive Oil paired with a Berry Champagne Cocktail!
Move on to the second course where you will enjoy Mini Tuna Tatake Tacos with Wasabi Aioli, Fish Roe and Organic Microgreens served with a Twisted Ginger Tom Collins!
The third course is our NY Strip Roulade; fresh baby spinach, and red bell peppers wrapped in a Grilled NY Strip finished with caramelized onion crème fraiche and fresh chives served with a Cranberry Bourbon Fizz.
You will then enjoy a sampling of Dixie’s Finest Shrimp & Grits with a Southern Sweet Tea Spritzer.
Of course you can’t miss Black Pelican’s homemade desserts for your final course! This round includes a sampling of our Reese’s Cheesecake, Key Lime Pie and a Coconut Cream Pie Shooter all served with a delicious dessert wine to top it off!
This is a multi-night event so be sure to carefully select the correct night.
