Boograss
Join us for our annual Boograss event at the Bluegrass Island Trading Company in Downtown Manteo. This FREE event is part of the kick-off event for the 11th Annual Outer Banks Bluegrass Island Festival. Your pumpkin must be delivered to the Bluegrass Island Trading Co. no later than1 p.m. on Thursday, October 20th. Judging will take place on Thursday, October 20th following Town Mountains performance. All contestants must arrive at the Bluegrass Island Trading Company no later than 7:30PM to enter the contest.
COSTUME CONTEST
- 1ST PLACE: $500 CASH PRIZE plus two 2023 General Passes to the festival
- 2ND PLACE: Two 2023 General Passes to the festival ($300 Value)
- 3RD PLACE: Two single day tickets to the 2023 festival ($140 Value)
PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST
- 1ST PLACE: $100 CASH PRIZE plus two 2023 General Passes to the festival ($300 Value)
- 2ND PLACE: Two 2023 General Passes to the festival ($300 Value)
- 3RD PLACE: Two single day tickets to the 2023 festival ($140 Value)
