Shane's Cupcake 5K

Event Description:
In 2012, Shane Miles started the Outer Banks Running Club's Cupcake 5K as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. He managed it for 6 years before being diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer in December 2018. Now, the Cupcake 5K serves as a dedicated fundraiser for Shane and his family. Join other runners and walkers at Aviation Park to support Shane and his medical treatment.
Following the event, find your fellow racers and spectators at the after party at the Outer Banks Brewing Station. Enjoy a taco bar, specialty drinks, a raffle and music provided by a DJ. Race registration includes a t-shirt, finishers medals for the top three males and females and the breakfast taco bar.
Price:
$35 for runners; $10 for spectators attending the after party
