Event Description:
Join us for a weekend of speakers, ceremonies, a U.S. Coast Guard search and rescue demo with a helicopter, displays of Coast Guard equipment, a Beach Apparatus Drill, and more to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Life-Saving Station Historic Site! Rear Admiral John "Jay" Vann, Commander, Fifth Coast Guard District, will deliver the keynote address at this significant event.
This event will take place over two days with each day having new activities. Saturday, October 12th is focused on "The Way It Was Done Back Then" and Sunday, October 13th will be focused on "The Way It's Done Today", with Monday being the rain date for Sunday programs.
