Community Resiliency Model (CRM) Workshop
The Community Resiliency Model (CRM) is a set of easily learned concepts and wellness skills that help us to be more aware of the body's response to stress and to have options for how to respond to those stresses. CRM can help us see what else is true in the moment-to see that is strong and uplifts us, not just what is "wrong" or distressing. The model is about biology, not mental weakness. CRM helps us to be able to chase the resilience in our own lives, and to help others feel more empowered to chase the resilience in their own lives. We share information about ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences), Trauma and Resilience, along with the Public Health Model, which shows Adverse Community Experiences.
Focus on the Resilient Zone and how we can build on it as well as information on how the brain works. This is an opportunity to learn and earn 2 in-service credits and a gift card!
