Explore to Learn Playgroup (Manteo)
Explore to Learn is an organized, interactive playgroup that allows children and caregivers to participate in coordinated group activities to prepare children for success in school and life.
Playgroup facilitators use the Kaleidoscope Play & Learn Curriculum to provide hands-on activities during each playgroup.
Young children (0-5) and family, friends and neighbors who take care of them will meet weekly on Fridays in the Play & Learn Library at the Center for CYP in Manteo (534 Ananias Dare Street). A separate playgroup will be held in Nags Head (106 East Finch Street) on Tuesday mornings.
Due to limited availability, we ask that families only sign-up for one playgroup each week (Manteo or Nags Head).
Due to space limitations, registration for each playgroup is required. Registration for each week's playgroup will be posted on CYP's Facebook page here at 1:30 p.m. on the Friday afternoon of the week before each playgroup.
September Explore to Learn Playgroups in Manteo will occur on:
- September 5 (registration link will open at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, August 29)
- September 12 (registration link will open at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 5)
- September 19 (registration link will open at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 12)
- September 26 (registration link will open at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 19)
