Event Description: 

Take Charge of your Finances; Budget Smarter, Manage Debt, & Stress Less in this complimentary workshop presented by PNC.

During this workshop, you will:

  • Explore the importance of creating and maintaining a budget.
  • Examine the differences between wants and needs.
  • Set goals for spending, savings, and debt repayment.
  • Understand why people find themselves in debt and the most common types of debt.
  • Use and analyze budgeting and debt management strategies.
  • Create a personal plan for managing debt.

There will be two opportunities to participate:

  1. Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 11:30am-2:00pm at Kill Devil Hills Fire Department (1630 N. Croatan Highway, KDH) | Last day to register is Monday, February 9.
  2. Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 11:30am-2:00pm at the Center for Children & Youth Partnership in Manteo (534 Ananias Dare Street, Manteo)  | Last day to register is Tuesday, February 17.
