Temperament: A Practical Approach to Meeting Individual Needs
Temperament refers to a combination of tendencies that make up an individual’s natural way of relating to people, things and events. This session reviews updated research findings on temperament, the five temperament tendencies, the impact of culture and the concept of Goodness-of-fit. We will review strategies for responding to individual differences in temperament in children in group care.
