Be My Neighbor Day (Buxton)
Join us in the gym at Cape Hatteras Secondary School for our Be My Neighbor Day! Inspired by the values of PBS KIDS, Be My Neighbor Day brings families together to play, learn, and connect with local organizations that care about children and communities. You don’t need to be familiar with Fred Rogers Production's show Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood to participate. The heart of the event is celebrating what it means to be a good neighbor.
Be My Neighbor Day will be an afternoon of fun, connection, and exploration for children and their families, with hand-on activities, games and resources, not only from PBS Kids and Children & Youth Partnership for Dare County (CYP), but from several local organizations as well, including the Hatteras Library, the Fessenden Center, Hatteras Island Ocean Center, the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum, and many more!
