Supporting Developmental Monitoring & Screening in Early Care & Education Settings

Children and Youth Partnership, Supporting Developmental Monitoring & Screening in Early Care & Education Settings
Event Description:

We know that monitoring and screening in early childhood care and education settings are critical to identifying children at risk for developmental delays. What is less known is how programs use developmental monitoring and screening tools and the ways caregivers talk with families about their children's growth and development. This training will help participants understand the differences in developmental monitoring and screening and why they are so important to children & families. Participants will learn how they can track and celebrate children's milestones and strategies for collaborating with families on supporting children's healthy growth.
