Join us for a special program at Island Farm! Corolla Wild Horse Fund’s Herd Management Coordinator will be joining the Farm’s historical interpreters to bring modern context to the history of the Spanish mustang breed. Also included in the program will be the history of the Colonial Spanish Mustangs, their introduction to the Outer Banks, and historic uses over the centuries. While you are here you will meet two banker ponies, Grace and Rainbow. We can't wait for you to meet this rare breed that lives on through careful conservation, management, and ongoing educational efforts. See you there!
