Nice mixed bag today.
Started off with a few tuna bites early. Found a good grass line and worked it for a few miles before it finally fell apart. That short stretch was holding some really nice dolphin though.
After that we decided to slide in a little and finish the day bottom fishing. Tile bite was excellent and it didn’t take long to get our limit.
On the way in to the tilefish grounds we also ran across a huge area of whales — probably the most I’ve ever seen in one spot.
Good weather, good fishing, and a great crew onboard.
