Event Description:
Operation Green Light is a National Association of Counties initiative that encourages residents and businesses to show their support to local veterans by shining green lights throughout their communities to let local veterans know they are seen, appreciated and supported.
From November 6, 2023 through November 19, 2023, an array of Dare County government buildings and facilities will be illuminated with green lighting in honor of our local veterans. This time period coincides with both Veterans Day and the four-day period during which The Wall That Heals will be on display in the community.
