Dare County Parks & RecreationLaunch Event: The Collins Trail

Dare County Parks & Recreation's Trails Committee has developed some interpretive signs for the Collins Trail in Manteo and invites you to attend their launch event at the Virginia S. Tillet Community Center. Learn about Marshal and Gussie Collins who owned the property around the Dare County Governmental Center, then bring your walking shoes and enjoy the trail after the ceremony. The event will include representative(s) from the Collins family talking about Gussie and Marshal. The timing is set to coincide with the Roanoke-Hatteras pow wow for which a lot of Collins-Berry family members will be coming in from out of town.
