OBX 50/150 Cross-Country Air Race Challenge
Experience high-flying excitement at the second annual Dare County Airport Air Race, where aircraft of all makes and models take off for a 150-mile closed-loop course over the Outer Banks. Spectators are invited onto the grounds to get an up-close look at the planes and meet the pilots.
The day continues with a Wings and Wheels showcase featuring rod and custom cars, plus patriotic highlights in honor of America’s 250th anniversary. Enjoy a special American flag skydive by Skydive OBX set to the national anthem and look to the skies for formation flight demonstrations by the Bullseye Flight Team. Food vendors are expected on site, making this a full day of family-friendly fun.
