Dare Days 2024
There are birthdays, holidays, barefoot days, wear your PJs to school days, take your child to work days and then there are Dare Days! Dare Days is a town-sponsored special event showcasing and celebrating our great community, its diverse culture and rich history over two days in two different locations to enjoy!
Dare Days will kick off and will be held in downtown Manteo. Family and friends can enjoy a variety of craft and food vendors, music, live entertainment, lawn games and a great kid’s zone complete with fun rides, obstacle course and activities. Shop and dine at the many local shops and restaurants throughout the day and all weekend!
But wait, there was MORE! Family, friends, smiles, giggles and wiggles will continue with a gospel concert at the Pea Island Cookhouse on Sir Walter Raleigh Street. Sip on old-fashioned lemonade and indulge in some sensational local sweets while the Pea Island Preservation Society shares a little history of the area. Relax and enjoy a wide array of music provided by our local churches and other groups. It will be quite a delight!
Dare Days is all about celebrating and connecting communities at the grass roots level in order to share our wonderful and diverse culture and rich history through this very special event. Dare Days will be an eventFULL weekend!
