The Town of Nags Head will host a free, Family Fun Times gathering at Dowdy Park. Activities will include a variety of children's crafts and interactive building. This free event is perfect for families and friends looking to enjoy creative fun together!
June 30th - A Special A250 Family Fun Event! This special Family Fun Times event will engage the community in hands-on, creative activities that celebrate American heritage and values. By allowing children to design, build, and decorate their own patriotic crafts, it fosters a personal connection to the history, symbols, and ideals of the nation. This is especially relevant to America’s 250th anniversary, as it encourages the next generation to explore and reflect on the principles of freedom, independence, and civic pride that have shaped the country over the past 250 years. Activities like these make the commemoration of America’s milestone both educational and memorable, helping to ensure that the spirit of the nation is carried forward in meaningful, tangible ways.
