Join Raleigh author Susan Byrum Rountree as we all celebrate the rerelease and 25th anniversary of her book Nags Headers: Historic Cottages of the Outer Banks and Their People with a talk and reception. The book is “a blend of oral history, narrative, and old photos–tells the story of the families who helped settle one of North Carolina's oldest beaches and traces the history of the summer life of Nags Head’s oldest families”. The event will give the community the opportunity to hear Susan speak on the book and her process of expanding it.
