Launch Party With Suzanne Tate
Suzanne Tate has just released Merri-Lee Monarch: A Tale of A Big Trip which documents the life story (and journey) of the beautiful Monarch butterfly. Lavishly illustrated by Suzanne's right hand artist, James Melvin, this is book 39 in her best-selling Nature Series which began 30 years ago with the publication of Crabby & Nabby, a perennial favorite among her fans both young and old. To celebrate both of these accomplishments, Downtown Books is hosting a launch party for Merri-Lee Monarch on Saturday, May 12 from 2pm - 4pm at Waverider's Coffee & Deli at Pirate's Quay in Nags Head. Suzanne will be on hand greeting fans and friends and signing copies of Merri-Lee and other titles from the series beloved by children everywhere.
