Virginia Dare Night
The Elizabethan Gardens is pleased to host “Virginia Dare Night” for Dare County, Currituck County, and Tyrrell County residents. “Virginia Dare Night” will support the Roanoke Island Food Pantry. All locals are invited to attend the 17th season of WinterLights for donations of non-perishable food items on this night. This is an opportunity to attend WinterLights while aiding local families in need.
The doors open at 6:00 PM, and guests must reserve tickets online. In addition to the food or dry goods donations, residents are required to show proof of Dare County, Currituck County or Tyrrell County residency, such as a driver’s license or utility bill. Pre-opening donation collection begins at 5:00 PM.
Recommended items for donation may include the following: Paper Towels, Packaged Toilet Paper, Cooking Oil, Mayo, Mustard, Ketchup, Canned Tuna or Chicken, Boxes of Pasta and Sauce, Rice, Peanut Butter, Hamburger Helper, Canned Stew, Toothpaste and Feminine Products.
Virginia Dare Night tickets are limited. There are no rain checks for these free tickets.
