Wilbur Wright Day Celebration
Wilbur Wright was born on April 16, 1867. Every year, the First Flight Society celebrates his birthday on or around that day.
This year, we are switching venues to Jennette’s Pier, where we had the Wright Brothers Day luncheon on December 17 last year. It will be an evening event, focusing on being a fun birthday party, with cocktails and snacks instead of a seated meal. We will have live music and The Spirit of Wilbur Wright. If you are not a First Flight Society member, your ticket price will go towards a one-year membership in the Society.
Sponsors and partners will be recognized as part of the event. An additional highlight will be a silent auction to raise funds for the FFS Honorary Members and sponsor programs. The auction includes signed items from First Flight Society Honorary Members and sponsor donations. Please contact the First Flight Society if you would like to sponsor.
