Event Description:
The Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Celebration Committee invites the Dare County community to celebrate the rich legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. during a community-wide program. This year marks the 33rd year the celebration has gone on in Dare County. This year’s program will be a musical performance by the ECSU Concert Choir under the direction of Dr. Walter Swan. ECSU’s concert performance will be a musical representation of the rich legacy of Dr. King. This event is open to the public, and refreshments will be served after the event.
