Wanchese Fishing ChartersDC on the water

We had a great group from Washington DC today. We started out in the calm water on the inside of the bar and started catching Spanish mackerel and small blue fish . But within 30 minutes they insisted that they would like to go out into the ocean no matter how much I advised against that. After crossing the bar would 4 to 5 foot Breakers we finally made it to the outside ended up finding 5 blue fish and heard from the other boats where they were catching Spanish mackerel in false Albacore when I lined the boat up and headed that way is when the mate came up and said we had some Chummers. So we decided to go back inside to the flat water and never found the fish again just advice from a captain you never leave fish to go find fish from the crew of the fishing Taxi tight lines and God bless
