Clear Water Pushing in
The fishing from the surf and piers improved greatly with the clear water pushing in. Lots of spot, sea mullet, bluefish, Spanish mackerel, sheepshead, croaker, a few puppy drum and a large king mackerel were all reported yesterday.
The little bridge has slowed on the trout but there are still a few being caught along with some really nice croakers, spot, and small blues. The pirates cove bridge has given up some nice trout this week along with some drum. The Bonner bridge is still producing sheepshead and a few drum.
Hatteras has had a mix of blues, spanish, sea mullet, puppy drum, pompano, and plenty of sharks.
