Fall fishing is starting to pick up! The piers and surf are producing nice puppy and yearling drum. Spot, sea mullet, croakers, bluefish, pompano, and scattered Spanish mackerel are being caught as well. The ribbon fish bite after dark has been on fire!
The little bridge has had some trout early and good catches of croaker and bluefish throughout the day. The bonner bridge has had good catches of drum and sea mullet with a few sheepshead.
Hatteras Island has had great drum fishing from Rodanthe to the inlet. Bluefish, spot, pompano and sea mullet are being reported also.
We just got in a load of nice cob mullet and some drummy weather on the way so come grab some while they last!
