Plenty of Ribbon Fish
The northern beaches and piers have been producing bluefish, Spanish mackerel, yearling drum, sea mullet, spot, croaker, a few pompano, and plenty of ribbon fish!
The little bridge has been slow as far as the trout are concerned but they are still catching one here and there. Bluefish, spot, croakers, and pinfish have been abundant. There is also a lot of mullet and fat back around the bridge if you’re trying to catch bait.
Hatteras island has had good catches of puppy drum, Spanish, sea mullet, pompano, blues, false albacore, and plenty of sharks.
Looks like we have a good swell pushing in the next couple of days. Hopefully it will fire up an early drum bite! We are stocked up on fresh cob mullet, bait, and rigs so swing by and see us before you hit the water!
