The puppy drum fishing on the northern beaches and piers is picking up! Good numbers of sea mullet, blue fish, and scattered trout are also being reported.

The Little bridge is still producing trout and bluefish early.

Hatteras island has big bluefish scattered from Rodanthe to the inlet. Drum of all sizes are also being caught. There’s also some decent sea mullet and the occasional pompano in the mix.
