Really Nice Pompano
The northern beaches and piers have been catching quite a few spot and sea mullet the past couple of days. There have also been a few bluefish, croakers and puppy drum.
The trout bite at the little bridge has slowed down but there are still a few being caught along bluefish, croakers, spot, and pinfish. The pirates cove bridge is giving up some nice trout on live and cut bait. The Bonner bridge is still producing some sheepshead and a few puppy drum. There’s a pile of drum roaming around the inlet if you don’t mind taking walk!
The point has opened back up on Hatteras Island. A mixed bag of bottom fish, bluefish sharks, and some really nice pompano are being reported.
We got in a nice load of cob mullet yesterday so stop in and grab some before you hit the beach!
