Moth Night
Event Description:
Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Frisco Native American Museum by joining us on an evening Nature Trail night with Backyard Butterflies for a Moth Night! Naturalists, Nature Lovers, and Citizen Scientists must come join us for a memorable night of magic and mystery as we shine a light to attract moths to a collecting sheet! We'll be getting up close and personal with these fluttering creatures. Together we'll learn all about their crucial role in the ecosystem and the importance of native trees needed to sustain their life cycles. We'll be mastering the art of moth identification and photography. Details to upload and share your photos to an iNaturalist project will be announced.
