17th Annual Turkey Trot
Start your Thanksgiving morning with family, friends, fitness, and plenty of community spirit at the 17th Annual OBX Turkey Trot in the beautiful Town of Southern Shores! Whether you're chasing a personal best, making memories with family, or introducing your little ones to the joy of running, there's a race for everyone this Thanksgiving.
The OBX Turkey Trot is a 5K and children’s fun run to support the non-profit organization, OBX GO FAR (Go Out For A Run). OBX GO FAR is a non-profit children’s program designed to fight childhood obesity by educating children on healthy habits and positive character traits all while training for a 5K or Fun Run. Your support in our fundraiser event would help us scholarship more children into the program. This year marks our 15th Anniversary of OBX GO FAR and your support has touched the lives of over 10,000 participants in our program!
