Salty Dawgs Lecture Series: Jockey's Ridge State Park
NC Park Ranger Austin Paul joins us to share information about Jockey's Ridge State Park, home to the tallest living sand dune system on the Atlantic Coast. Jockey's Ridge is celebrating their 50th year as a state park.
The Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum presents its Salty Dawgs Speaker Series which features presentations on North Carolina maritime history and culture including topics on piracy, shipwrecks, whaling, sea shanties and the mystery of the Lost Colony. The speakers are historians, divers, maritime history Masters candidates, musicians, professors, researchers, and authors. These talks are scheduled on Tuesdays from May 20 through August 26.
