Pumpkin Patch Saturdays at Island Farm
Every Saturday in October, come to Island farm and find your perfect pumpkin to take home. This event series, now celebrating it's 15th year, is a can't miss community favorite!
This year’s Pumpkin Patch will feature plenty of pumpkins – grown locally in Chowan County by a descendant of Island Farm in Manteo, North Carolina. During the event, visitors will enjoy historic games, doll crafting, candle making, samples of apple cider and popcorn, giveaways from the blacksmith, and a new lineup of fall activities including a nail-driving contest, jumbo bubbles, a fresh maze design, corn tunnel and opportunities to feed livestock!
All activities are included with the general cost of admission. During the event, the Farm will also host a maker’s market which will feature a variety of local artists, craftsmen, and food for purchase.
