Shrimp and Grits Throwdown
As part of the 2017 Day at the Docks festivities, join us for a Shrimp and Grits Throwdown! Chef Tom Armstrong of Vinnie's Steakhouse in Raleigh will compete against Chef Jay Pierce of the Traveled Farmer in Greensboro. It's sure to be a day of fun and friendly competition. Even better, this event supports locally caught seafood and local fishing communities.
The Throwdown will take place under the big tent at 2:00 p.m. A demo by the Cape Hatteras High School Culinary Department begins at 1:30 p.m.
