Event Description:
Island Farm is lucky enough to have two Corolla wild horses living on-site. Join us every Tuesday and Thursday (from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.) to learn more about these incredible “banker ponies”, and how they fit into early life on the Outer Banks. This is the only place (aside from the Corolla Wild Horse Fund’s farm in Grandy) to pet a Corolla Wild Horse. Rainbow will be milling around the Farm in the cow pasture, ready to visit with anyone who will scratch their noses.
Cost for this program is free with general admission to Island Farm. Please note that this programming is subject to change depending on the demeanor of the horses and the weather.
