Mid-morning update -- A 45-inch long RED DRUM has been caught and released. Also biting: CROAKER, BLUEFISH, SPOT, SAND PERCH, SPECKLED TROUT and SEA MULLET. Water is 67 degrees, air temp 60 degrees. Winds are NW at 10 knots. Low tide 10:32 a.m. and High tide 4:48 p.m. Mitch McKinney from Currituck County pretends to eat a fish.
