Fritz Boyden Memorial Youth Fishing Tournament
Event Description:
Sponsored by the Nags Head Surf Fishing Club, the annual Fritz Boyden Memorial Youth Tournament takes place at four of the area's ocean fishing piers – Avalon, Nags Head, Jennette’s and Outer Banks. All fees are waived for youth anglers participating in the tournament. Mr. Boyden was a huge proponent of taking children fishing and this event celebrates his legacy. A picnic lunch and awards ceremony follows the morning of fishing.
