Outer Banks Special Olympics Polar Plunge
Event Description:
The OBX Polar Plunge is a unique fundraising opportunity for individuals, organizations and businesses to support Special Olympics NC by jumping into the frigid Atlantic Ocean waters in the middle of winter! Whether you’re looking to dip your toes or make a big splash, you’ll be a true hero in the lives of the Special Olympics athletes you’ll be supporting!
All registered plungers will receive a local “I Plunged at Jennette’s Pier” t-shirt and wristband at check-in.
Awards will also be presented to Polar Plunge participants in the following categories:
- Best Individual Costume
- Best Team Costume
- Cool Schools Top Team Fundraising Prize
- Largest Plunge Team Award
- Top Individual Fundraiser
- Top Team Fundraiser
