Pier Fishing 101

Event Description:
Youth ages 5 years old and have completed kindergarten -up to 7 years old will learn the basic skills necessary to catch a fish. Students learn how to cast, reel and the proper catch and release techniques, while fishing on the pier. All bait, tackle and rods are included in the lesson. Participants are asked to meet at the NC Cooperative Extension office located at 120 Community Way, Barco no latter than 12:00pm. Please make sure to feed your child lunch before you drop them off because we will not be stopping for lunch. If your child is required to ride in a booster car seat please provide that at drop off.
