Event Description:
Join professional hang gliders, fans and families at Jockey's Ridge State Park in Nags Head for this Kitty Hawk Kites Hang Gliding School tradition. The Hang Gliding Spectacular is the longest-running hang gliding competition in the world! We are excited to celebrate the 52nd consecutive year of this event and have many fun activities planned — a retro glider display, a video and photo exhibit, a film festival, a street dance with live music, the Rogallo Hall of Fame induction ceremony and more!
Spectators encouraged! This event is free and open to the public.
