Wright Kite Festival & Competition
Take flight where flight first began at the Wright Brothers National Memorial. Explore the museum and the site where Wilbur and Orville took their historic first flight in 1903. Then join us for some of your own flight.
30 - 100 foot kites will be flying high! Fly your own kite, take free stunt and power kite flying lessons, bring the kids to our kite making station.
Admission to the park is $7, but participation in the kite festival is totally free!
The Wright Brothers National Memorial Park grounds are open daily from 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
